TTLDMEX Batch Always Creates Records With Positive Tender for Both Positive and Negative Tenders from RDWF_Data File (Doc ID 2192530.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 19, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.0.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

TTLDMEX batch always creates records with positive tender, for both positive and negative tenders from the RDWF_Data file.  This occurs even though there are tenders reflected in the file with positive and negative amounts.

The RDWF_data file shows the correct sign, but when batch TTLDMEX batch runs, it creates records only with a positive sign, so tender always loads with a positive value in Retail Data Warehouse (RDW).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a few positive and negative tender records in Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) for a transaction.
  2. Run SAEXPRDW batch.  This will create RDWF_data (Tender) file, which will show the positive and negative signs correctly.
  3. Run the batch TTLDMEX.
  4. Note that the batch created records with a positive value for both positive and negative tenders.
