Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0.2, when you run a "Standard" Allocation Model containing multiple Allocations processing against Management Ledger (FSI_D_MANAGEMENT_LEDGER), the Allocation Model fails and the following error is output to the ofspa log in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps:
Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [4] - oexec(),
oexn() SQL Function: [189] - SQL function not found! Oracle
Error: ORA- 00942: table
or view does not exist Driver Function: drv_oci::Execute() SQL
Statement: MERGE INTO FSI_D_MANAGEMENT_LEDGER TARGET USING (
It appears the global temp table (ex. GLBL3857TMP) does not exist when the merge statement is executed for Allocations after the first Allocation.
The error prevents you from running Management Ledger Allocations in an Allocation Model.
