Service Items Not Shown in Dropdown When User Selects Services Menu Option

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) 14.1.2, Service Items are not shown when the Services button is pressed.  The following error message appears: 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to POS.
  2. Ring Item.
  3. Press Item button.
  4. Press Services.
  5. Note the error:  'No Service Item Exists.'
