Shut Down of Instantis EnterpriseTrack Environment - Intermittent

Instantis EnterpriseTrack environment ONLY

When attempting to access Instantis EnterpriseTrack the system locks up and errors are displayed in log files the following errors can possibly occur:

WebLogicServer File:


InstantisTrace File:

Hundreds of accounts of message:WARNING: {< Access to cache, but resource cache not registered as resource (and presumably retry not enabled)

ViewDebugLog File:

VDB --- :dbm.DBConnectionPool:AUDIT

VDB -- 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)':dbm.DBConnectionPool:AUDIT: {< Waiting for a free connection:
WARNING: {< Access to cache, but resource cache not registered as resource (and presumably retry not enabled)
VDB -- multiple occurrences of " Status = Obtaining session lock "

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Access Instantis EnterpriseTrack
2. Work in the product as normal
3. system locks up

NOTE: For analysis of the files, you can upload to an SR from the environment wit the issue.  Files needed:

ViewDebuglog: To create review KM Article: SRDC: How To Create A ViewDebugLog in instantis EnterpriseTrack (Doc ID 1552938.1)

Instantis Trace File: To locate navigate to the domain of the environment and collect the instantistrace log.  Please reduce the information where issue started (by date) before uploading to an SR.


  1. Recent upgrade / Install of SiteWand to Version
  2. Recent upgrade / Install of Instantis EnterpriseTrack to version possibly with higher patchsets
  3. Enabling of Feature Setting "Manage reporting data model"
