Timesheet Allowing User To Save For More Than 24 Hours And User Cannot Correct The Erroneous Data - Instantis EnterpriseTrack (Doc ID 2195611.1)

Symptoms

User accidentally entered more than 24 hours in a day on a timesheet, the user is not allowed to edit the timesheet, when attempted message is displayed "The Total hours for any day cannot exceed 24."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Access as user with permission to created and edit timesheets.
  2. Navigate to time sheets
  3. Enter a time sheet with 25 or higher in any of the days of the week
  4. Click save
  5. Timesheet saves
  6. Edit the day with 40 hours to 8 hours, click save
  7. Receive message:

The Total hours for any day cannot exceed 24.

      8. Click ok the hours stay, but you have to click save again and the edit does not take place the message appears again.
      9. Cancel out of Timesheet

Additional Information
Able to enter hours over 24 for any day of the week with the initial entry of the time sheet
Once hours have been entered on a timesheet, any hours on any one day is over 24 the message appears:  "The Total hours for any day cannot exceed 24."

Changes

 Initiatives have been either copied or imported into the account where this behavior is present. 

NOTE: If the environment has not had Initiatives COPIED or IMPORTED this will not be the same issue.
