Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating an external generated transfer in Store Inventory Management (SIM), if an item is deleted from transfer before dispatching; the ITEM_LOC_SOH table in Retail Merchandising System RMS shows incorrect records in expected and reserved quantities after running DOCLCLOSE process.

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Transfer request from Location 1 to Location 2. Items requested:
  a. item 1 = 8
  b. item 2 = 6
  c. item 3 = 8
2. Accept the above quantities.
3. Before dispatching, change the quantities to:
  a. item 1 = Delete this line item
  b. item 2 = 6
  c. item 3 = nothing to dispatch since the request was accepted with 0 quantity
4. After dispatching, receive at location 1 with the following quantities:
  a. item 1 = nothing to receive as it was removed from the transfer
  b. item 2 = 5 (received short)
  c. item 3 = nothing to dispatch since the request was accepted with 0 quantity
5. After running DOCCLOSE the transfer is closed.

Results:
a. Item 1 has 8 pieces left in Transfer Reserved and Expected for sending and receiving status even though the line was deleted and does not show on the shipment (should be 0 in both cases).
b. Item 2 has a RL (Receiving Location to bear the loss) adjustment on the shipment. The values are OK.
c. Item 3 has 8 pieces left in the Transfer Reserved and Expected for sending and receiving status even though the line was deleted and does not show on the shipment (should be 0 in both cases).
