Oracle Knowledge Analytics Async Logging Is Not Working On OK 8.6.0.X Search Instances (Doc ID 2198560.1)

Symptoms

After installing patch 8.6.0.4 Setting async=true in runtime/search instances shows the following message, changing asynch to false corrects this however events are processed in a slower synchronous mode.
