Oracle Knowledge Analytics Async Logging Is Not Working On OK 8.6.0.X Search Instances

After installing patch 184.108.40.206 Setting async=true in runtime/search instances shows the following message, changing asynch to false corrects this however events are processed in a slower synchronous mode.
