During the overnight batch, Purchase Orders are generated from the batch and populate the NON_CONTENTS_ORDER table. As part of the base batch, these purchase orders are sent through to the PO_MFQUEUE table as well in order to get sent to downstream systems (RIB, RMS).
We noticed there was a discrepancy between the orders in NON_CONTENTS_ORDER and those going through RIB.
We have now investigated this during the overnight batch process by pausing RIB and monitoring the PO_MFQUEUE table. We found that the the DELIVERY_DATE column in NON_CONTENTS_ORDER does not match NOT_BEFORE_DATE in PO_MFQUEUE in all cases.
This happens during every overnight batch or purchase orders.
Interestingly, the date mismatch does not appear to be entirely random. We can clearly see that the orders in PO_MFQUEUE do have the same dates as the orders in NON_CONTENTS_ORDER, but they have been mixed up.
For example if this is non contents order:
Order number Delivery Date
Then this will be PO_MFQUEUE:
Order Number Not_Before_Date
