Details

We are pleased to announce that Patch Set 2 for Oracle Communications WebRTC Session Controller (OCWSC) 7.2 is released.

In conjunction with this 7.2.0.2 version, we have released updated "Oracle Communications WebRTC Session Controller Client SDK" which are available for download from Oracle Technology Network site.

In addition to the Signalling Engine (SE) Rolling Patch update and Media Engine (ME) Rolling Patch update, this patch set release introduces a standalone TURN server which you must install and configure in your environment. 

 


Actions

Please download OCWSC 7.2.0.2 (PS2) <Patch 27248905> and deploy following README for SE and ME.

In addition, please follow the instructions in TURN Server Installation Guide and TURN Server Administration Guide which can be found in <patch_dir>/custom/documentation.

To ensure that the patchset is applied successfully please ensure that you:
- Apply the new WSC-SE patch and update the TemplateLibrary Groovy Code
- Apply the new WSC-ME patch
- Install and Configure the new WSC Turn Server

Rebuild and test all applications and sample code using the 7.2.0.2.0 version of the SDKS.

For more recommendations on WSC 7.2 Signaling Engine, please refer to <Document 2222960.1> Recommended Patches to Install on WSC 7.2 Signaling Engine. The recommendations in <Document 2222960.1> overwrites the patches in the README file inside the patch zip.

For Media Engine, on top of 7.2.0.2.0, there is an additional <Patch 31324399> to support TLS 1.2. Please see details in <Document 2740015.1>.
