Files Created By "configtoxml -n" Or "configutil --noactive" Are Not The Same As What Is Documented (Doc ID 2199918.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 23, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Official Product documentation for configtoxml available at:

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E63708_01/doc.801/e63711/msadm_uc_cmd_ref.htm#MSVAG1921

needs to be corrected when talking of the option -n or --noactive:

"The generated Unified Configuration files have the names config.xml, xpass.xml, and restricted.cnf, and are written to ConfigRoot. "

The referenced file names are not correct in this case, since they contain an additional underscore: ie. config_.xml, xpass_.xml, restricted_.cnf.
