After Deploying Patch 23282990, BILLING Job Failed with Error in Cobol-to-Java Method (Doc ID 2200082.1)

Goal

Customer applied patch 23282990 and its necessary prerequisites on a testing environment to correct a performance issue.

Now BILLING job fails with following error in Cobol-to-Java communication related methods. According to findings, the error occurs when a Post Processing (Billing) algorithm (Java) plugged into the corresponding Contract of the Account that is billed.

If the Post-Processing (Billing) algorithm is removed from the Contract on the Account, the bill gets created without any error.
Considering the fact that this feature was working without any issues on the same environment before the patch was deployed - so Customer suspects that this issue is related to the installed patches.

This article confirms if this is correct assumption or if this is environment specific issue - not a Product bug.
