UNIQ_DOC_VIEW_CNT Does Not Contain The Count Of Unique Documents Viewed (Doc ID 2202401.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Knowledge - Version 8.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The UNIQ_DOC_VIEW_CNT in table FACT_USR does not contain the count of unique documents viewed by the user for that date.

The count of unique documents viewed is determined per batch run, so when the events of one day are processed by multiple batches, the UNIQ_DOC_VIEW_CNT is not reliable.

The measure UNIQ_DOC_VIEW_CNT given under FACT_USR table does not work when aggregated. Such measures should not have been calculated in the ODI layer but calculated on the reporting side.

The information of who has viewed an article on which day along with the version and other dimensional attributes available in FACT_CONTENT table
