It Is Not Possible to Adjust Allocated Quantities from an Adjusted Purchase Order (Doc ID 2202479.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Allocation - Version 14.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Why is it not possible to adjust allocated quantities from an adjusted purchase order (PO)?

When trying to edit store by store an allocation for which an order had some quantities cancelled, the allocation throws an exception saying that the "quantity should be less or equal to the total available quantity".  The application does not let the user edit other rows.  The validation should be made at the block level, not at the row level, to help the user choose stores that will not receive the planned quantity.
