The Error 'Invalid Username or Password' Occurs When Authenticating using LDAP with P6 Web Services (Doc ID 2203478.1)

Symptoms

When P6 Web Services is configured for LDAP Authentication, one of the following errors occur when testing the P6 Provider connection. Login may succeed when using P6 Professional/Project Management.

Note: Prior to Primavera Gateway 16.2, the P6 Provider used the P6Adapter to connect to the P6 database. The P6 Provider used with Primavera Gateway 16.2 and higher uses P6 Web Services to connect to P6. For older versions of P6 that reference the P6Adapter, the same steps in this document can be applied.
