Integration Server Defined Item Level Gateway Events Appear to be Stuck in a 'Sending' Status or Processing Very Slow
(Doc ID 2204052.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.2.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
System tasks are not completing because their associated Gateway Events are stuck in a 'Sending' status or processing very slow. The behavior is specific to Integration Server defined Item Level Gateway Events.
The query below retrieves the status count for Integration Server defined Item Level Gateway Events in statuses of Sending, Waiting and In Progress. See NOTE BOX below regarding information about constructing the "srsige.GATEWAY_EVENT_ID" IN clause.
Method 2 (difficult)
Construct the "srsige.GATEWAY_EVENT_ID" IN clause using the all of the "com.mslv.integration.handlers.DefaultEventHandler" event-id values from the application server's ${MSLVHOME}/${SERVER_NAME}/appserver/gateway/integration.xml file. Using the example below, the IN clause would be constructed as "AND srsige.GATEWAY_EVENT_ID in (1542,1584,1585,1624)". The difficulty of this method is driven by environments having multiple application severs where each server's INTEGRATIONSERVER is enabled as all values are necessary.
Changes
Any database activity affecting query execution plans. The example reported to Oracle support for this case was database.
