Goal
A user is using the Active!mail mail client.
The user received an email from an outside user which showed an INTERNALDATE string of "Thu, 01 Jan 1970 09:00:00 +0900". So, when this message appeared in the user's inbox, it looked as if the message originated in 1970.
After a few minutes (of not doing anything with the message or in the inbox itself), the date changed to the correct / present date.
Why did the initial date of the email show as "Thu, 01 Jan 1970 09:00:00 +0900", but then switched to the correct date?
