Severe Error Occurs When a Saved Store Order is Edited: 'Error occurred during service invocation'

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, we find that the application throws a "Severe System error" message when a Store Order is saved.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a store order and add a few items
  2. Save the store order
  3. Open the same store order and add few more items
  4. Click on "Save" and note that the application throws severe system error with the following trace:

oracle.retail.sim.common.core.SimServerException: Error occurred during service invocation.
