ORPOS Does Not Prompt for Manager Override During Transaction Cancel

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) does not prompt for Manager Override while cancelling a transaction in certain flows.


Steps to Reproduce:


Pre-Requisites:

  1. Log in as a user with role as "Cashier" without having right to "Cancel a transaction"
  2. Make sure parameter "IdentifyCashierEveryTransaction" is set to "Y"

Test Case -1

  1. Log in to POS with Cashier
  2. Add an item (say, 1234)
  3. Delete item (which is added in step 2)
  4. Press "Item"
  5. Press "Services"
  6. Press "Cancel" button
  7. POS directly show the login screen without asking for Manager override

Test Case -2

  1. Log in to POS with Cashier
  2. Add an item (say, 1234)
  3. Delete item (which is added in step 2)
  4. Press "Item"
  5. Press "Inquiry"-->"Price"-->"Item Search"-->"Advance Search"
  6. Press "Cancel" button
  7. POS directly show the login screen without asking for Manager override
