Certified configuration Demantra 12.2.5, weblogic and Java (Doc ID 2207029.1)

As per the Demantra Installation Guide at, following is the supported stack

Supported Product and Version
Application Server

Oracle WebLogic 11g (10.3.6 or higher) and 12c ( or

Tomcat 7

IBM WebSphere 8.5.5

Java JDK 8 64-bit Update 77 or above on the Application
: 32-bit versions of Java are not supported.

Based on above Weblogic 10.3.6 with Java 1.8

But as per the MOS, certification tab, weblogic 10.3.6 is supported with Java 1.7 and 1.6.
Java 1.8 is not listed as a supported configuration

Customer is trying to use Demantra 12.2.5 with weblogic 10.3.6 and Java 1.8 , but is having issues bringing up the managed server

They get

NFO: Secure socket listener started on port 5556 FATAL Alert:PROTOCOL_VERSION - The protocol version requested is recognized but not supported.
at com.certicom.tls.interfaceimpl.TLSConnectionImpl.fireException(Unknown Source)
at com.certicom.tls.record.handshake.HandshakeHandler.fireSSL2ErrorException(Unknown Source)
at com.certicom.tls.record.handshake.HandshakeHandler.handleSSL2Error(Unknown Source)

Can you please confirm if the customer can use Java 1.7 with weblogic 10.3.6 with demantra 12.2.5 deployed on it
