Goal

Need Information on How Demantra Forecasts Explode PTO Model Kits To Derive Component Demand?

Customer has PTO Model Kits, the currently forecast using the forecasting features in Inventory/MRP. When forecasting for PTO Model Kits, ASCP does not explode PTO Model Kits to derive the component demands, during the plan run. This is something ASCP has never done. As a workaround, they create a forecast only for PTO Model Kits. Then load another forecast with this forecast and use the Explode parameter to generate the component demand. This is the workaround the customer has agreed to use.

Going forward, the customer is planning on using Demantra for forecast. They need to understand how Demantra can help them generate demands for the component items related to PTO Model Kits forecasts.

Customer is not using CTO feature of Demantra, and requested if there is any other standard way to explode.
