JSP Reference application (JSPRef app) Shows Invalid ENE Location Error After Implementing SSL (Doc ID 2211321.1)

Symptoms

JSPRef shows an invalid ENE location error for MDEX Host after implementing SSL as noted below.

status >> invalid ENE location
ENEConnectionException
com.endeca.navigation.ENEConnectionException: Connection unable to determine response code from navigation engine.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Implement SSL communication, as per the related 11.2 Security Guide
  2. Open JSPRef application
  3. Try to connect to one of the SSL enabled Dgraphs: https://<Workbench-Host>:<Workbench-SSL-Port>/endeca_jspref/controller.jsp?N=0&eneHost=<MDEXHost>&enePort=<MDEXPort>

Changes

 Implement SSL communication, according to the 1.2 Security Guide.
