Feedback - Suggestions From APS To GMP - Fails To Create FPOs For Manual Planned Orders (Doc ID 2214617.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, APS Feedback

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Create a planned order manually choosing appropriate "Alternate BOM", "Alternate Routing" etc. Firm and Save. Check "For Release" and Save. Release planned order.

The FPO is created, but using the highest priority recipe, not the one corresponding to the alternate BOM in the planned order.

Customer has found:
1. Note that while creating a planned order manually, when we choose Alternate BOM BBB and tab out, the field is reverting back to AA and defaulting Alternate Routing to AA.
We are able to navigate back to Alternate BOM field and choose BBB on second attempt.

2. When we create planned orders manually, is not inserting correct value into MSC_SUPPLIES.process_seq_id even though it shows correct values for columns ALTERNATE_BOM_DESIGNATOR, ALTERNATE_ROUTING_DESIGNATOR, IMPLEMENT_ALTERNATE_BOM, IMPLEMENT_ALTERNATE_ROUTING.
