Person Contact Type Format Validation Algorithm [C1-VALPHFMT] does not format the input phone number
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an inbound web service (IWS) that will reference the Service Script C1-ValPhFmtS (Validate Phone Format SS).
2. Issue a request passing in a contact detail consisting of purely numeric values. Ensure that a valid format is also included in the request.
Note how the logic tags the value as invalid and does not format the value.
