Incomming Message of Size Error Message When Running LDAP Preview In Agile Java Client (Doc ID 2216341.1)

Symptoms

When trying to run the LDAP configuration preview in the Agile Java client we get the error:

Error

Incoming message of size: '10000080' bytes exceeds the configured maximum of: '10000000' bytes for protocol: 't3'.

 



Facts

- There are >10000 users being queried by the Search Filter defined in Java Client Admin tab > Server Settings > LDAP
- Changed the maximum message size in WebLogic to 15000000 and this did not have any effect

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Java Client as admin user
  2. Go to Admin tab > Server Settings > LDAP
  3. Click Preview
