How Can CalDAV Clients Deal with the New Calendar Names?
(Doc ID 2217910.1)
Last updated on MARCH 30, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 8.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
After migration from Calendar Server 7 to Calendar Server 8, calendars are created with a number and not with the name provided. It is not anymore like the previous version where the calendar name was equal to the "calendar display name" now it is an ID. (See Doc ID 2128528.1)
i) How can a user add a calendar into his Thunderbird with Lightning module for instance? Because right now if we just put the name of a new calendar we created into Convergence it does not work, it only works with the ID. Where can a user easily find that ID?
ii) Is there way to not have that ID in the "calendar name" field? Is there a way to have like the previous calendar's version, "calendar display name = Calendar Name"?
