Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) 14.1, Email is sent couple of times when thermal printer is offline and user press retry button to reprint the receipt.

 Steps to Reproduce:

Precondition: thermal printer offline

  1. Login to POS.
  2. Perform a sale transaction.
  3. Tender.
  4. Select email and print for receipt generation.
  5. On the warning message screen that printer is offline press retry - notice that the email message is sent multiple times.
