BPA Script Halts With 'Move' Command While Move A Value To Search Field

Symptoms
Business Process Assistant (BPA) script step failed when moving data to User Interface field (e.g. Move Data, Input Data) if the Destination is a User Interface field in a Search Page (e.g. Control Central).
Move steps work with other tabbed pages.
This BPA script used to work with Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CCB) 2.4.
Following are the steps to recreate:
1. Goto a search page
2. Create a bpa script that sets the value in one of the UI field in the search page
3.Invoke the bpa script and enter that value
Actual Result : Nothing happens and javascript error is thrown Object doesn't support property or method 'updateFieldWithDefault'
Expected Result : Value entered in the script gets populated in the respective Field and search results for the same are displayed.
