Dynamic Deterministic ALM Process Fails with 'ORA-02396: Exceeded Maximum Idle Time' (Doc ID 2219635.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), when running a Dynamic Deterministic ALM Process with 22 Interest Rate scenarios, the process fails and the following errors exist in the ofsrm.xxxxxx.log in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps:

Module Logging OFS calculation module data: Child exited with return status 0, Child Status 1

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [12] - ofetch(),
ofen() SQL Function: [0] - SQL function not found! Oracle Error:
ORA- 02396: exceeded maximum idle time, please connect again
Driver Function: drv_oci::FetchNext() SQL Statement:
select a.rowid, a.ORG_UNIT_ID, a.GL_ACCOUNT_ID, a.COMMON_COA_ID,
etc.

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [4] - oexec(),
oexn() SQL Function: [0] - SQL function not found! Oracle Error:
ORA- 01012: not logged on Driver Function: drv_oci::Execute() SQL
Statement:
update fsi_result_queue
 

While there are partial results in the RES_DTL_xxxxx table, data is not output for all Product / Currency values.  If you run the ALM Process against only one Product, the process runs successfully.
