Standard UOM Is Created Incorrectly Using Xitem API While Creating An Item Externally (Doc ID 2223078.1)

Last updated on MARCH 10, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 14.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an item is created from Item Subscription API with STANDARD_UOM ='M' and SELLING_UOM='M", RPM_ITEM_ZONE_PRICE.STANDARD_UOM is updated as 'EA'.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Publish XItemCre message through RIB into RMS (via SVC Tables) with STANDARD_UOM ='M' and SELLING_UOM='M'.
2. Notice data in SVC tables. SVC_XITEM_RIZP has captured SELLING_UOM as 'M' as passed in xml.
3. Notice data in RMS tables. RPM_ITEM_ZONE_PRICE has captured SELLING_UOM as 'M but STANDARD_UOM as 'EA' for corresponding ZONE_ID.
