Change Parent Fails if New Parent's Child Task Is Locked by Other User (Doc ID 2223543.1)

Symptoms

Change Parent fails if new parent's child task is locked by other user with below error:

Error

<Username> has explicitly locked the object <Child Task Name> for update. Please try again after the lock is released by <Username> or by unlocking <Child Task Name>




Steps to Reproduce

  1. Login to Web Client, and Create New -> Projects -> New, fill in below and create a new Phase:
    Type: Phase
    Name: Parent
    Description: Parent
  2. Do Create New -> Projects -> New, fill in below and add a new Task:
    Type: Task
    Name: Brother
    Description: Brother
  3. On Task(Brother), perform Actions -> Change Parent
  4. On New Parent, set Phase(Parent).
    Now 'Parent' and 'Brother' will have parent-child relationship below:、
    Parent
    ┗ Brother
  5. Create New -> Projects -> New, fill in below and create a new Task:
    Type: Task
    Name: Myself
    Description: Myself
  6. Open Task(Brother), and Lock
  7. Open Task(Myself), and perform Actions -> Change Parent
  8. On New Parent, set Phase(Parent)
  9. Gets below error:
    <Username> has explicitly locked the object Brother for update. Please try again after the lock is released by <Username> or by unlocking Brother
