Symptoms

When attempting to go to the Primavera Contract Management website, the following error occurs.

 Deployment "jboss.jca:name=DefaultDS,service=DataSourceBinding" is in error due to the following reason(s): ** NOT FOUND Depends on 'jboss.jca:name=DefaultDS,service=DataSourceBinding' **

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue may occur after the following:

  1. A hardware failure or power outage occurs.
  2. Upon resolution of the hardware failure or power outage, the Primavera Contract Management application server is restarted.
  3. Upon start of the service or application for Primavera Contract Management, errors are reported within the jBoss log files.
  4. The Primavera Contract Management user interface does not start and become available for end users.
  5. When end users attempt to access the Primavera Contract Management application web URL, a “404 ERROR” is seen.
