Goal

On : 12.1.3 version, Memory Based Planner In Test

Users are unable to see scrap quantities in ASCP for assemblies setup with operation yield. Background: Users were using the shrinkage rate on an organization item to get planned scrap quantities created in ASCP during plan runs. But now they decided to change and use the yield factor on the routing instead so they can get more granular information indicating where the scrap is being generated. After users ran both lead time rollup concurrent requests from the routing which calculated the cumulative yield, lead times, etc., they re-ran the ASCP plan after a complete refresh of data collections.  However, they noticed there were no scrap planned orders generated. The planning engine still seemed to assume 100% yield. Why is ASCP not calculating expected scrap quantities for components with operation yield?
