Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

On 8.0.2 version, Formula Results assumption does not generate results for ALM Static Deterministic process.

ERROR
FSI_MESSAGE_LOG shows:
Exception while evaluating Formula-Result assumption. ORA-06502: PL/SQL:numeric or value error: character string buffer too small

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect Output for Formula Results with Result_Type 2 in RES_DTL result table.

STEPS:
1. Defined and run an ALM static deterministic process. The source is represented by only one record.
2. Defined Formula Results assumption which was created only for the <Product, Currency> combination of the specific deal records.
The Formula type is defined as “Liquidity Gap” using an “ALM function”: FE(Leaf, FE, Lag)
3. After running the process, noticed that the process does not generate the corresponding output for Formula Results which should have RESULT_TYPE=2.
