Dm User Has Lost The Access To Demantra Administrative Tools Module (Doc ID 2225344.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On DM-Gen version, during the configuration process, we lost the access for component owner 'dm' for the module - Demantra Administrative Tools in Business modeler. You would expect to give DM user the permission of System Manager; 'status' checkbox for Demantra Administrative Tools in order for it not to be disabled or grayed out. But dm cannot make component changes and users cannot modify that from SysAdmin account as well.

As a workaround, we are using user account to modify series/levels etc.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Change the permission level of dm user to Supervisor and save it
  2. This takes away the Demantra Administrative Tools access from Demantra.

Permissions of DM user changed to supervisor by mistake
