Cannot rename user to another, in Agile PLM

Symptoms
On : Agile PLM 9.3.4.0 version, User/User Group
When attempting to rename user A to user B
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
"Users A already exists"
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log onto Java Client as administrator
2. Open user A and modify to B, click save.
3. Java Client popup error: "Users B already exists"
4. Search user B, find no result.
