Symptoms

ACTUAL RESULTS

When connecting to a SQL Server database, the system monitor is not updating the delete_session_id and delete_date for USESSION records which should be marked for deletion.

The system monitor should update records for deletion where the last_active_time exceeds 2 hours, by default.

EXPECTED RESULTS

When connecting to a SQL Server database, the system monitor should update the delete_session_id and delete_date for USESSION records which are expired.

BUSINESS IMPACT

When these types of records exist in the database, it can prevent a user from logging back into P6 Professional, resulting in the error outlined within knowledge base document:

"This user is already logged in. Please use another log-in name" When Logging Into Project Management or Methodology Management (Doc ID 891328.1).
