Last updated on MAY 27, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, find that, for an Unit and Amount (UA) stock count, after the completion of the first count, some items are incorrectly marking items as non-discrepant, though the counted quantity is bigger than snapshot quantity.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a product group, type: unit and amount, variance count: ex: 10, with a high volume of items.
2. Create a stock count based on that product group.
3. Execute the stock count snapshot.
4. Execute the first count.
5. Check the STOCK_COUNT_LINE_ITEM table to see items are not marked as discrepant though those items have a counted minus snapshot count difference bigger than 10.
