Clarification On Using ItemTypeSelectors In PDC (Doc ID 2228212.1)

Goal

On : 11.1.0.8.0 version,

Scenario:

One is using itemTypeSelectors in PDC(Oracle Communications Pricing Design Center) to populate Item Tag in ECE(Oracle Communications Elastic Charging Engine). In this context below questions arise :

Qn1: Is it possible to use itemTypeSelectors in PDC without overriding existing item configuration in Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) and just impacting ECE ItemAnalyzer cache ?

Qn2: If itemTypeSelector is used in PDC Config, then does PDC become the primary of Bill item and Custom item instead of BRM? Will all the BRM configurations on Bill item be moved to PDC?
