Viewer Search Dialog Focus Reverts To Viewer Under Java 8 (Doc ID 2228268.1)

When displaying the viewer search dialog from the viewer for the first time after login, the search dialog becomes the active foreground window and has keyboard focus.
On subsequent launches of the search dialog, the active window and keyboard focus reverts to the viewer window itself.

This behavior appears to be related to java 8 vs. java 7.

Other applications have this behavior (under java 8) as well. A case in point is trouble info, when raising either the sort or filter dialogs, active window status reverts to trouble info, and does not remain with the dialog (as it does under java 7).

A further workaround is to make the dialogs modal (i.e. modal="true").

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open search dialog in the viewer, on subsequent uses it is no longer focused.
