Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 12.2.4 version, Engine Comp for Oracle RiskOpt in TEST:

Users are testing Inventory Optimization (IO) plan run/output and found that if they use a Forecast Set as a demand schedule in the IO plan, they do see Safety Stock generated for their items. If they replace the forecast set with a Production Plan (MPS), they see no gross requirements for their items and thus no safety stock is generated. Is it allowed to use MPP (Master Production Plan), MPS (Production Plan), MRP (Manufacturing) ASCP plans or Master Demand Schedules (MDS) as demand schedules for an Organization in an IO plan?
