Issue while converting "0" prefixed string to integer using str2int routine.

We are using str2int function to translate strings to integer values. In this case, while converting "0003810" as received from the network element into an integer value we are getting an error "The leading 0 is causing difficulties for the routine"
execute str2int("0000120");
you will be able to see the error message "The leading 0 is causing difficulties for the routine"

How to avoid the error?
