Error: "The Driver Could Not Establish a Secure Connection to SQL Server Using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption. Could Not Generate DH Keypair" When Running P6v7 Dbsetup Tool (Doc ID 2230052.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run dbsetup.bat to create a new P6v7 database in MS SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows 10, the following error occurs.

SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate DH keypair".


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run dbsetup.bat, step through process
2. View reported error

 

Note: This same issue occurs when running any java-based tool, like dbsetup.bat, migrate.bat, validate.bat for this P6 version.
