Last updated on SEPTEMBER 03, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Cartridge Kit

Scenario :

*  Customer has an issue related to Setting of Usage Start Time and End Time using Input CDR in CC Cartridge wherein they are receiving the dates not in enriched format.
*  Dates are being received as follows:

start date : YYYYDDMM
Start time : HHMMSS
Total Duration : 120 Seconds

Question :

1*  Is there any OOTB method where one can store the Start time and End Time as follows

Usage Start Time : YYYY-MM-dd HH:MM:SS
Usage EndTime : YYYY-MM-dd HH:MM:SS

2*  Also is there any method where one can calculate end time based by adding start time with duration which will be in seconds. This should also handle the cross over scenario.

Example :
Start time : 20172701
Start Time : 235900
Total Duration : 120 Seconds

So, customer expects the usage dates as follows
Usage Start Time : 2017-27-01 23:59:00
Usage EndTime : 2017-28-01 00:01:00

3*  Also , is it possible to  convert YYYYDDMM to DDMMYYYY with any method in OCOMC?
