Unable To Login In SIM For User Type: Store User or Temporary User

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) version 16.0, when trying to login with users created as store user type, it fails and throws an error:

"Login failed. Username and/or password is incorrect or user is unauthorized"

Steps to reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a new SIM user with type "Temporary User" or "Store User".
2. Try to login in SIM app with respective user.
3. The above login error is thrown.
