On : 2.3 version, BI - Billing
During billing, the system is picking up an incorrect price assignment. The scenarios, include billing for prior periods, and expects the system to pick the appropriate price assignment and the correct pricing based on the start date of the service (Billable Charge Start Date). For revenue recognition purposes, the end date (Billable Charge end date ), is far out in the future for this particular revenue stream, namely anywhere between five and nine years. The standard contract type for this stream is uses. It is not a subscription contract.
Have a price assignment starting 1-Jan-2015 and ending on 31-Dec-2016 for $ 15,000 (Block Price).
Have a new price assignment starting 1-Jan-2017 with no end dates for $ 20,000 (Block Price).
The contract type used is Standard.
Have a billable charge with start date of 1-Apr-2016 and end date of 31-Mar-2025.
Expected to bill $ 15,000 since the start date is in the first price assignment. During billing, get the price as $ 20,000.
