Upon Saving '% Complete' In My Tasks Tab For Activities With Steps Error Message Appears. (Doc ID 2233407.1)

Saving '% complete' in My Tasks tab for activities with Steps -> error message appears.

"You are not authorized to perform action"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. To an existing or new project add an activity.
  2. To this activity add yourself as the Primary Resource.
  3. For the same activity add 2-3 steps to it.
  4. Login to P6 Team Member application and then switch to My Tasks tab.
  5. In My Tasks tab select that activity and then click on 'View All Steps'.
  6. To any of these steps change % complete value or click on tick-mark to make it complete.
  7. Click on Save and observe the error.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot save % complete of steps.
