Grounds are appearing on the wrong side of the grounded device.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
On a system where conductors are modeled such that when a switch is connected to two conductors, the diagrams for the two conductors appear to touch directly under the center of the switch diagram.
1. Place a ground on the upstream port of a switch where the diagrams for the conductors touch the middle of the switch's diagram.
2. Observe where the ground gets drawn.
3. Remove the ground.
4. Place a ground on the downstream port of the same switch.
5. Observe that the ground gets placed in the same location.
