Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) version 7.5.0PS6, when upgrading to 7.5MPS1, the following error is observed when upgrading the schema on single-schema Oracle DB (using pin_75_75MPS1_upgrade.pl):

Started dd_objects_ipv6_75ps4_upgrade.source at Mon Jan 23 17:07:00 2017
Modifying DB Schema...
Loading objects from file /opt/75pinx/hns/brm/ootb/sys/dd/data/dd_objects_ipv6_75ps4_upgrade.source
*** Error:  Unable to update the Portal Base database.
            Exiting from the install without finishing successfully.
            Please check for errors in /opt/75pin2/hns/brm/ootb/tmp/tmp.out
            and then rerun this program.
