Warning 'Unable to ensure the certificate used to identify this application has not been revoked' While Loading an Applet in P6 Web Using an SSL Connection (Doc ID 2234973.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to load an applet within P6 Web using an SSL connection, the following warning messages are displayed:

Warning #1:

Running this application may be a security risk

Risk:
This application will run with unrestricted access which may put your computer and personal information at risk. The information provided is unreliable or unknown so it is recommended not to run this application unless you are familiar with its source.
Unable to ensure the certificate used to identify this application has not been revoked.

The prompt has a checkbox which can be selected for I accept the risk and want to run this application; in addition Run or Cancel options are provided.


WARNING #2:

The digital signature for this application was generated with a certificate from a trusted authority but we are unable to ensure that it was not revoked by that authority.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6
2. Load any applet
3. Note the reported error which occurs

Additional information:

Reloading any applet regenerates the same prompt.  In addition, the issue still occurs even after the I accept the risk and want to run this application checkbox is selected.
