Goal

In the Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) data model, can you increase the size of the RECORD_COUNT column in the instrument tables (ex. FSI_D_CASA)?

To improve processing performance by the cash flow engine (CFE), you aggregated individual instrument records with similar characteristics into a single record and you want to store the number of records aggregated in RECORD_COUNT.  In the case of deposits and credit cards, you aggregated over 1 million records in some cases.  However, a count over 1 million will not fit in RECORD_COUNT which is limited to 6 digits (NUMBER(6)).
